We are a beautiful couple that enjoys the finer things in life.
We’re successful in our professional lives and have been lucky in our investments.
We don’t say this to brag or look down on anyone, as the only time we need to look down on someone is when you’re helping them up.
We believe in giving back and helping out. We have a new philanthropic project starting up shortly which we’re very excited about. Maybe we’ll talk more about that in the future.
My first luxury watch came to me when I was twelve years old. A Rolex 3525 named Zephyr. An inheritance from my grandfather who had died in car accident.
It’s always been bittersweet for me wear that watch.
It was Papa’s watch that brought him through WWII and the Korean War.
I had grown up hearing stories of Zephyr and how it helped bring him through some tough times.
I don’t know too many people who name their watches, but I’ve continued that tradition myself.
To this day I wear Zephyr every week if not a couple times. I try to rotate through my timepieces so I won’t make the others jealous.
From the time I was sixteen, I had been bitten by the Expensive Watches Bug.
That was the summer I bought my first watch. It was a reward of sorts for my hardworking summer.
I was running three construction crews at four different projects along with a couple side hustles at night.
My net for the summer ended up being $43.8K, so spending $2K on a watch seemed reasonable to me.
To this day, it’s my favorite watch. A Rolex Submariner in stainless. No date just a clean face. A piece of art in my opinion. His name is Ducky after the character from Pretty in Pink.
